2015 LX front end sound
2015 LX front end sound
2nd intermittent issue has risen on our FIt.
a front end “whoop, whoop, whoop” sound. Frequency of the sound is tied to road speed. Almost sounds like a flat. The sound gets faster as we slow down....is that possible, or am I mis-remembering?
its happened a few times but is not consistent. I THINK it occurs during moderate-hard braking but don’t want to discount any other non-brake related thoughts. I don’t feel anything through the steering wheel.
it’s so hard to nail down....open the windows, hear road noise....keep windows shut, hard to hear it.

Sounds like a warped rotor, especially if you have to roll down the windows to hear it. I would have said anything from the CV axle to even just the bushings on the sway bar but the fact that you can't hear it echoing through the cabin makes me think brakes.
