Dealership charged me $30 for the 3 refills. Saw them on eBay for $20 shipped, but were different part #s. Both specified 2015-2017 Fit.

So I bought a set of front generic holders from Lowes/Home Depot, will also these fit into the wiper arms as they usually have some plastic adapters?
Until a few years ago, you could find replacement rubber strips for just about any car. There were 4 or 5 sizes that fit almost any blade. You would buy two 21 inch (50 cm) strips for about $2.75 US, then cut the rubber strips to length with a razor blade and snap the metal strips to length where they are scored every cm. For less than $3 you could replace the front wipers. For the rear, you would do the same thing but you'd have some left over for next time. A few years ago they seemed to disappear from retail parts and accessories stores.

The 4 main sizes, if I recall correctly, were 6mm square, 6mm trapezoid, 8mm square, and 8mm trapezoid. That's the description of the cross section – when you cut the strip with a razor blade.

I went to replace my driver side insert and there is no metal spline (I purchased the 2007 FIT used) + there is no metal spline in the OEM replacement insert!

Any idea where one might purchase just the spline?!

Or would I be better off at this point replacing the wiper blade...? Any current blade recommendations? Thanks!
For 2015 Fit there are no metal splines used in either front wiper rubber strip. Only the rear strip has metal splines. Most standard rubber strips have 2 grooves on each side, one groove for the metal spline, the other groove to slide over the blade's claws. The "full contact" blade on the Fit's front window has only 1 groove on each side. There is a full length metal claw inside the blade, which slides into the groove on each side. This is in contrast to old style blades which have 4 or more small claws. Sorry I didn't see where you said 2007 Fit - about which I don't know.
