I just received the boxes containing the parts for my audio system upgrade. The first step is installing a 120 amp breaker under the hood, next to the battery. Would folks who have done this be willing to post photos of their installed breaker? I'm interested to see where people mount it. There are a few choices, but I'm leaning towards mounting it on the top of the fuse box.

 

Did you buy a 120A alternator too?? The whole car runs through an 80A breaker and you only have a ~90A alternator depending on the year..

I would mount it on the firewall sheetmetal so the breaker can cool, they de-rate as they get hotter.
