ZippyFit's Progress Thread

Hello everyone.

I have loved cars all my life. I've always had the desire to tear them down and do different enhancements on my vehicles, but none of them have ever been "good enough" to do good, permanent things to. So when I found the listing for my 2016 Honda Fit EX, I found this forum and all of the information that has been shared over the years. Taking inspiration from Action Jackon's thread, I wanted to create my own online documentation of what I am doing to my car. Hopefully this helps other people, and if you see something i've done wrong/incorrect or know of a way to improve it, drop the info down below!

This is Zip! 2016 Honda Fit EX, J vin, with 12,395 miles on it.
This is Zip covered in snow.
I can fit an 8 Foot Ladder inside of Zip

Mods:

The first modification I did was the rear window wiper.

Rear LED Pillars Installed

Tint is done! 50% in the front, 15% on the rest. Full ceramic, will do the windshield when I can afford the additional $200.

Pioneer TS-WH500A Installed! - Under passenger side seat, but need to devise a way to keep it stationary. Used radio adapter bought off of eBay for ~$30

Shelf installed! Not being the handiest person in the world, I paid someone local $60 to make me a good enough replica of the inside with a nice piece of reinforced board. After that, I wrapped it in foam and added fabric. Total cost was about $90 after materials.

To Do:
Window Visors
Fix rear bumper ($500 quote) - future
Full ceramic Windshield tint - future
Figure out mounting solution for Pioneer TS-WH500A
Build cargo cover for remote working - laptop and WiFi AP mount
Install anti-glare screen protector for radio

Proceed with sound deadening. Noico Sound Deadening - Reflectix - MLV

Looks like a solid plan.

What subwoofer are you going to install?

Thanks! Ended up going with the Pioneer TS-WH500A so I can put it under the front seat, or somewhere else small and out of the way.

Shelf installed today! Comments in the original post. Rushed the installation as i'm leaving town for the day tomorrow, so i'll rework the fabric a bit if it gets annoying.
