im sure it is if the TL was designed for 93 octane fuel. if not, it is just a waste of money.

As I said, In My Humble Opinion. I go tomorrow to fill up (probably less than 9 gallons) at Kroger's (Shell). Regular, 80 cents per gallon off, The Fit gets the same mileage on short suburban trips as it does on Mapco Express.

If you want the best floor mats money can buy get WeatherTech. They are definitely worth the cost ($180 for front and rear). The fitment is perfect and they provide full coverage. They are much higher quality than Husky which are the next best option.

only problem is husky provides BETTER coverage than weathertech around the pedals. weathertech looks nicer though.

I didn't like how the weathertech didn't cover the dead pedal fully, so went with husky which does. Apparently the weathertech covers the rear under the seats more, but haven't had a situation where that mattered.

93 doesn't make any difference in mpg or power, IMHO.
I have never noticed an increase in MPG but have in power. Very likely its in my head. I just use low grade Top Tier when I am near a station.

I've read some of the papers, but I'm not a scientist. It is a private group and not necessarily controlled by any regulations.
Mileage can be affected by so many variables that several tanks and not get constant results. Mine is down right now because of the summer/winter change over.

Car manufactures back it up but no it is not governed by anything really. A gas company submits a sample and it can be "certified" Top Tier. Better gas mileage from Top Tier is hard to test because of all the variables like you said but the cleaning agents and extra add in's are where I think the benefit is.

Agreed, the 1mpg I picked up for no change in performance wasn't worth it. I had better results with the rec 87 non-ethanol gas, and it was cheaper than 93.

Non-ethanol is hard to come about around hear, especially with 30 to 80 cents per gallon off regular. The weather has gone freaky around here today a high of 64 after a streak of high to mid 80s..Mileage will be inconsistent until it settles.

420 miles to a tank. I have had my 2015 cvt for 2 years now and barely get 300. Mostly city driving and not a heavy foot. I have read on here about 45mpg. I don’t see it.

City driving kills MPG. There can be a 10mpg swing from straight highway driving to stop and go traffic.

Update

So since the last time I was here I’ve done a few things to the Fit.
1. 20% tint all around
2. Red OEM floor mats (thought the red would clash with the orange stitching but you really can’t notice it too much)
3. Installed my 2 10” subs w/ amp. Sounds better in the Fit than it did in the TL. Music just hits better in a hatch.
4. In route - RS Earth Dreams Engine cover.

Finally had a nice enough day to wash the Fit. Man it looks so nice clean! I can’t wait to close up that wheel gap.

RS engine cover

So it finally came in, 30 days later! Quality looks and feels solid. My only issue is that the entire unit is held on by the tightening of the oil cap. Once tight it is solid but I’d like to see it stabilized a little better. I wouldn’t let that issue be a reason not to buy if interested. It does make the engine bay a little cooler looking especially with the red accents on the car and the red floor mats.

May I ask where did you buy this? and is it plastic?
only concern that would come up is if it would eventually melt since its literally on top of the engine. (all that heat)
