Hey guys I lowered my Fit on D2 Racing RS coilovers, please excuse the front wheels that need air and wheel rust.

 

That looks great man! What size wheel/tire? Are they Rota SS?

 

Thanks! Yes, SS's and stock tires with spacers in the back for now. I plan on upgrading to Rpf1's soon.

 

I like the look of both the rpf1's and ss's in black on our white fits. 15 or 16"?

 

Yes black and bronze to me looks really good on the white. The SS's are 15"s I might get 16"s with the enkei's

 

Looks real good with the drop. How much is it dropped in the pics?

I believe I am about the same drop on my GE yet have a bit more gap. The look of your GK just may tempt me this summer.

What lug nuts are you using? Not the chrome stock Honda ones I hope. The seat it not correct I believe for those wheels. I am using Tanacki(Sp) ones in black.

 

I'm gonna get 205/50r15 tires to go lower. Stocks have too much sidewall for me.

I got new lugs when I bought the spacers. Didn't know about the seat issue

One of my friends is parting out and one of his parts are d2 coils but they are from the second generation fit..do you know your part number, I'm just curious if it will fit on the GK5

 

how is the ride quality? I used to have d2s on my old accord but felt that the spring rates were too low.

 

still tyring to get my wife to let me put the swifts on ours. I think she'd enjoy the car more if I could get it a little more planted and "sporty" feeling but she has been ruined by the squishy ride and MPG meter

She drove a harsh ride Mini for years and loved it.

 

 

I'm on D2 springs. how are those coilovers/how do they ride?

The springs are bouncy, sometimes I feel like the car is gonna just fly and take off and never return to land ever again

 

 

I like the look with 15s, looks more like a racecar. With the car that low the extra sidewall ?probably adds much needed cushion.

I'm also curious about rubbing and ride quality?
