Can those who have used GE8 coilovers in the USA please chime in?

Looking for some answers:
-Did you have to do anything special to bolt up the GE8 coilovers?
-Which brand did you use?

I am looking to purchase a set of Apexi GE8 coilovers. I saw there is someone from the Philippines who has used Apexi coilovers already.

However, I got info from Evasive that for some reason, the USDM Fit uses different rear mounts than ROW (rest of world) GK5s. This is the same reason why the Tein Flex Z coilover available in Japan will not work on USDM fits (as they have tried it already). I contacted Tein Japan we will not be getting Flex Z coils in the US until September 2015.

Just trying to get some definitive answers before I drop money on coilovers. I just bought wheels so I want to lower the car asap.

*I know that other brands make GK5 coilovers, but I am not interested in their product (ie: BC Racing, Megan Racing, Buddy Club)
