Miata Wheel Fitment on a Fit

Does anyone know if these Mazda Miata wheels will work on the Honda Fit (2016+) ?

https://offerup.com/item/detail/221074972/

I've tried googling but I am not too familiar with Mazda wheels.

Nope. Miata hub bore is too small.

Miata: 54.1mm
Fit: 56.1mm

Thanks for the reply!

How about 215/45/17 on the Fit? Will that cause any issues. Thinking about picking up a 17x7 wheel with +43 offset

I actually bought a set of Miata rims and didn't realize the bore was different. I think I got it figured out though just ordered some 5mm wheel spacers that should clear the center bore and fit the brakes too. They're a 14"rim so the brakes are gone be really snug. I mocked everything up with some shims and it seemed fine. I bought some extended wheel lugs to make sure I catch enough threads on the lugs too. All in all about $70 worth in parts but might as well since I already got the rims. I can't wait to try them out the tire and wheel combo is only 27 lbs I'll try to remember to post my results lol if I don't though it probably worked 😆

You might want to think twice about doing this. You will be moving the stress associated with the movement of the wheel and suspension from the hub (strong) to four lugs (less strong). The lugs are designed to keep the wheel tight on the hub (i.e., they're strong in the "pull" axis) but I doubt that they will survive long if they're tasked with both holding the wheel to the car and absorbing all the forces associated with driving.

My opinion - it's easier and cheaper to find a set of wheels that fit correctly (e.g., countless varieties of old Civic/Integra wheels) than to lose a wheel and endanger yourself and others on the road.

If you have a friend or a trusted workshop with a cnc mill, or big enough lathe, it's very easy to make the center bore 2 mm larger.
