^ This thread is still open for those who are interest in the projectors.

I'll be back in Vancouver on the 21st and hopefully I can install a couple of these new projectors on the GEs.

Improvements of these Projectors over the first batch:

- Projector diameter is 3", so bigger lens and bigger Angel Eye(compare to the first batch at 2.5")
- A LOT more detail has been put on the overall casing (removed the need for a Shroud)
- Reinforced shell (more durable)
- Upgraded wiring harness (after technical feedback from fitofrage)
- Optional Secondary Angel Eye (To project light back towards the reflector)

If you are interested, please sign up so that I can have these 2nd Gen projectors arranged to be shipped on my next bulk shipment at the end of this month.

Signup list:
--------------
1)JasTonE - H4 6000K w/ White A/E (Type B)
2)
3)

I personally dont own a GE and there's really no GE in GVRD taht seem to be interested, which really surprises me because...I don't seem to get it... whats the worry?

Fits in China are JDM and LHD, and if the projectors work on a their's, it would work on a USDM. USDM Headlights have more depth and clearancethan JDM headlights.

Do you mean both H4 and H11 Projectors? Because if its H11 HID single beam, its pretty much standard at $USD85 according to last GB price.

I don't have the exact cost on these projectors as of yet because there's not enough sign-ups to gauge the interest. If you want me to give a "guess-timate" price, I would say its prolly slightly more expensive than the first Group Buy (GB) Projectors given that its BIGGER and its fresh off the shelves. But I will definately be able to "negotiate" the price if we have 20+ people.

The first Group Buy was a huge success, I'm sure we can make this happen again.

I would say around USD25? Depending on service? A ran into some problems with a few FF members on the first Group Buy so I am hoping to find a more reliable carrier - I previously use USPS....

ya, i only need the single beam for the fogs, thank you, so the difference between projectors and single beam is that the projectors have the movable shield for low and high beam selection, right?

btw, rep for helpfulness, sorry that i cant put an order in now...

ok heres my 2 cents on this batch of projectors

so just some notes before i get started...
-no, i am by NO means a professional in the automotive aftermarket scene as either a mechanic/body work tech or any sort of parts consultant/manufacturer, i am just an enthusiast WITH HIS OWN OPINIONS
-most of wat i have to say is my own subjective view
-and yes, my car is dirty and it needs to be washed

alright.. so i do wish i took some more pics (pre-install) but this should make do.

the actual product
likes:
-looks hella cool (angel eyes ftw!)
-bright
-sturdy construction (at least it feels like it, they arent bricks but they have some weight to it)

dislikes/quirks:

-kind of a weird cut off.. would've liked to see a straight cut, but this one cuts off very abruptly so its no big deal

the install (at Benzta Auto Body)
likes:
-very clean job done (as far as my eyes can tell)
-honest
-lots of communication

dislikes/quirks:
-took a while longer than expected (as u saw in the top view that ring was supposed to be chrome, however the masking tape started to peel the chrome off, so they blacked it out- a rational and understandable decision -no big deal)
-could've aimed the beam a bit higher, but im not blinding anyone.. so thats ok as well

*notes*
-
the install does require them to open up ur headlight housing but the guy that installed it for me (brian) is pretty confident it wont fog up and he garunteed his work (in other words if they fog up i can bring them back to him) and since its raining for the next few days this will be a good test
-the angel eyes r tied to the parking lights (or w/e they're called) so u have no daytime running lights.. i suppose u could ask them to wire it differently but guinness made a good point- since they're always on, wat if they burn out? pita to replace them..
-i may not have made it apparent but they included a headlight black out service in the installation fee

*again these r MY opinions, if urs differ.. thats fine, no need to nerd-rage about it*

^ Thanks for the write up. I'm going to have the tech team back in China to have a look.

Agree with the cutoff line. Not as perfect as the 2" 1st Gen Projectors BUT its better than using plain PnP HID Kits.

As for the aiming, perhaps you can align the reflectors higher?

Good light spread on sides and on the road.

*Note: Color temp @ 4300K*
