Hi,

I have 2008 Honda fit sports version 138K miles. From lats couple of days i am facing problem with starting my car, after ignition off and removing keys car doesn't start and everything becomes dead, lights, keys less fob all dead but when i use jump start it works. i went to store and checked my battery and alternator everything is fine. also when i do ignition off fuel guage also behaves abnormally, sometime it shows fuel meter even after ignition off.

please help me understand whats wrong with the car.

Any aftermarket alarms,remote control start etc?
Need clarification, are you trying stating it with remote start?
When fuel gage is on, any other instruments or idiot lights are on (does it shows a door icon when door is opened)?

 

No I am not using any after market remote and not using remote start.
it shows no other icon. one day I did ignition off and i was not even able to open my door because of auto lock, i have to open it manually.

 

Sounds like connections coming from your battery aren't good. If the alternator and battery have been tested in are both fine, leads me to believe it's a connection problem.

 

could it be a fuse problem, I didn't check any fuse yet.
