Hey guys, I'm new to the Honda Fit world. I had a 2010 Fit as a daily driver for a few months, unfortunately a truck from the town smashed into it while parked and totaled it. I recently just bought a 2019 Fit EX and was wondering if there is anything I should watch out for? One of the first things I noticed is that there is camber in the rear, is this normal from factory? Or should I take the car to get aligned.

I bought this car to avoid driving my S2000 everyday, which is now a street/track car with aggressive alignment specs. I want to make sure my Honda Fit won't have any abnormal tire wear as i dealt with driving the S2000 daily... Thank you!

The rear is not able to be aligned normally, unless you get some aftermarket shims.

 

Is this worth doing? Or is the wear negligible, I read somewhere about the rear being so light that it shouldn't cause too much wear. Wondering if having a full backseat will. Being that you've had yours for a few years, have you noticed any unusual tire wear?

 

Mines a commuter car so for me not worth doing. I got 40k before I was at 3/32 on the stock Firestone. I rotate tires every 5k. Current set of tires are wearing normally and evenly.

 

Mine is strictly for daily driving, I don't plan on touching anything besides a few aesthetic pieces here and there. As long as the tires last as long as they should without any abnormal wear, I'll leave it alone

I understand, I'm pretty much the same way. I've only done minor mods at this point to make my commute more comfortable. My signature pic links to my mod thread.

One other thing I do, though no sure if it's really necessary is that I get an alignment at least once a year. I have a lifetime alignment at Firestone so it's free. I drive about 20k a year commuting and over at least 4 sets of railroad crossings a day so I thought it would be worthwhile.
