GD1 winter tires on a new GK3?

Finally traded my GD1 in on a brand new GK3. There is a new model due in early November so this is pretty much the last word as far as JDM GK3s are concerned.

My question is this. I still have the winter tyres and rims for the GD1. They are 175/65 R14. The GK3 has 185/60 R15 tyres fitted. I very rarely need winter tyres but when I do, is it OK to run the GD1 rims and tyres on my new GK3?

Many thanks. I thought so but have no experience of these things. I'll hang on to them then and about once every two years they might get fitted to deal with snow and ice. So far (all of two days!) pretty happy with the decision. It is much quieter than the GD1 and of course has vastly more electronics on board. They don't come with a spare tyre these days so I kept that but I am not sure I will actually carry it around. There is a mounting hole that works fine but the boot floor is so flimsy that without the polystyrene insert underneath it won't even support a bit of shopping. I suppose I could try cutting some polystyrene to fit but maybe a repair kit and pump makes more sense. The spare I have never saw duty in 17 years so I suppose carting it around is a bit illogical.

Huh? What do you mean they don't come with a spare tire. My 2018 came with one. I wouldn't have looked at a Fit if it didn't have a spare.

Not in Japan they don't. And neither do 99% of new cars. They come with a compressor and bottle of leak fix that will, they say, usually get you to a repair station or home. Saves fuel they say.
