2009 sport grinding sound at 1,300 RPMs
2009 Sport Fit, 60k miles, automatic transmission. Runs fine except: have accelerated through 1k RPMs to 2k and hit 2nd gear; then need to slow, RPMs sink a bit; next time I go from 1,300 to around 1,600 RPMs, presumably in 2nd gear, I hear grinding (and car maybe slows a bit?). I'm guessing this is a transmission issue ... any ideas what it could be/how serious a repair it might require?
