Winning The Battery War
Hi,
I had a small victory today. My battery finally gave on this cold Monday. I checked around and went to a local guy who sold me a battery for my 1960 Austin Healey this summer. He not only had the correct battery(s) but he cut the tray to hold the 51R. Its much bigger than the stock battery and has 500 CCA vs a lot less for the original. I am super happy. It has a 5 year warranty (Delco) and that's about how long my original 151R battery lasted. So, modify, its not a problem at all. You'll be glad you did, like me.
