Question Recommendations for Roof Racks!

Howdy y'all! I've been wanting to get some basic roof racks for my 2016 Fit, EX, mainly because I am an avid mountain biker and I would like to be able to carry my mountain bike on top of my car. I've heard that there are OEM roof racks available for purchase, but I'm sure they'll be a bit pricey. Any recommendations for a budget-friendly, quality set of roof racks? Thanks y'all!

I am not aware of any OEM roof racks for our Fits, for any generation.

There are third-party roof rack systems made by Yakima, Thule, Inno, etc. that will offer different carrying options for your MTB (front wheel on, front wheel removed). You could look into a SeaSucker bike carrier, but those may not work with our thin roofs.

Are you open to other carrying options besides the roof of your car? Some have had success with the trunk/hatch-mounted versions. I personally like the hitch-mounted carriers, but that requires a bit more work to install.

I have considered a trunk-mounted bike rack, but I have always had more luck with some simple roof racks. Plus, I plan on using my roof racks for various other things as well, like when I need to carry a big box from IKEA.

I have had Inno racks on mine for a few years. No problems. Mostly haul canoes. Racks are solid, a little fiddly to put them on but I've only done it once. No idea on current pricing at the time at least they were much cheaper than the classic brands.
