2007 Honda Fit Sport 220,000miles

Ac & Radiator Fans won’t turn on when you start the car, or when it’s really hot.
here’s what we have done.

1. checked all fuses
2. checked relays
3. Changed both Ect switches


if we unplug the ect switches they will run..clutch will engage. we’ve done the paper clip thing, and are out of ideas. Anyone?

 

Are the fans turning with a/c on? Engine cold?

 

No, they won’t turn on engine cold or hot

just took it to the shop, and the guy there said it’s not the main computer, but it’s either the wiring around the body control module or the body control module.

I asked if that had anything to do with where th airbag was.... because I think this al started when the lot replaced the passenger airbag in my daughters car in November.... it’s not at the Honda dealership so they can see if it’s the body module or wires.... if they were listening ....

 

Just making sure, have you checked FUSE # 10 (7.5A) in under dash fuse /relay box?

 

That was def. checked. We just got it back from the dealership. It happened to be a coupler on the compressor that went bad. Even the service mgr said that the tech was amazing that found it! He himself had never heard of it!
