Left-hand drive car mirror replacement with an UK part (right-hand drive)

My first post here. Hello! I'm sorry I am terrible with the car terminology.

I am from EU, got into a little accident and my passenger mirror was broken (the plastic parts). I was able to find a cheap used replacement part, which is from a right-hand drive car. Would it fit?

Thank you!

Are you replacing the whole mirror or just parts from the replacement mirror into your current mirror? If you're replacing the whole mirror, ask the seller to send you pics of the front and back of the mirror plus close-up pics of the wiring connector to see the number of wires to the mirror and position of the wires in the connector. Compare everything before deciding to buy.

The only differences I can think of, is some markets offer folding mirrors, which you may or may not have, and I'm not sure in other markets if heated mirrors were available. Just something to think about.

There's another issue with the replacement if the car is from the US but the mirror is from the UK. The magnification of the sideview mirrors will be reversed if you don't change the actual mirror/reflective component to a US version, so you won't be able to see from them properly. I think the passenger side here is concave and the driver's is convex. As a result I don't believe that you should purchase the mirror you found.

Good to see you again, @56chevydan
