I live in the uk, and I’ve just bought a Japanese import 2008 1.5l RS. In the Uk you could only buy the 1.3l vtec. What I need to know is does it use the same service items, in particular; oil filter, air filter and spark plugs as the 1.3l? Thanks

 

If you can only buy the 1.3 engine....how did you buy the 1.5 engine?
Owners manual will give you all the info.

 

I thought my post was pretty obvious, perhaps not. as I said, I’ve imported the car from Japan, it’s not a UK spec model. The manual is in japanese. I’ve imported the whole car not just the engine. The only models you get in the uk Come with a 1.1l or 1.3l engine not the 1.5l. So, is the oil filter for the 1.5l the same as the one for the 1.3l?

 

Yes the filters are the exact same. Nothing to worry about there.
