2019 Fit Shift Boot Sagging, Retention Ring Missing

I am looking at purchasing a 2019 Fit Sport that clearly has some light modifications but otherwise appears well maintained. The shift boot appears to be missing the silver ring around it, likely because the previous owner ran a different shifter or knob or something.

Does this look like the ring is simply missing from the factory shifter, or could this be an aftermarket shifter? What's my best option to replace this piece? If I got an aftermarket shift knob, would the OEM boot retention ring create problems?

There is no silver ring on the sport knob. These two nubs are what keep the boot up. You can either wrap some rubber bands above the nubs or get an aftermarket boot collar that snaps to the bottom of the knob.

Thank you! That clears up a lot. Looking forward to buying this fit!

I've used a small piece of silicone hose (from intake) to prop up my shifter boots on other cars.
