Reputable dealers/mechanics to do maintenance in the Seattle, WA area?

Coming up on 50k miles here and my A12 maintenance minder came up. On top of the A12 maintenance, I'm thinking of getting my brake pads replaced since they're starting to screech now and possibly a syncro fix since 1st will sometimes not go in (I was demo'ing to my gf that 1st gear is blocked while the car is moving but nudged it a little TOO hard now this is happening). I have to roll a little bit and/or shift to 2nd/3rd then back to 1st and even that takes a few tries. Does anyone know of a reputable place to get these things done in the Seattle/Renton/Kent, WA area? Also, is it worthwhile going through a mechanic to get done?

I get all of my work done here locally at Lynnwood Honda. They are good people over there.

YOU...can replace the brake pads and my 2-3 is always notchy for me.....a fluid replacement may or may not help you...may be linkage ...bushing?........related. i have never resurfaced a rotor in my life...i file it to break the glaze, clean it up, replacing pads is really pretty easy. YOU could do this. rears are bit more complicated but probably you just need fronts(they do most of work) ...to replace syncros at dealer will be $$$$$$$$$$$ IF they will even do it...=new trans$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
