I-DSI L13A Fit join both coils pack signal cable from the same cylinder

Hi guys, long time lurker, first time poster. Appreciate all the help from the community. Thist site is awesome!

I have a problem and I need the car as soon as possible for work.

Is it possible to join 2 signal cables for the coil packs of the same cylinder?

I had a short and it seems to have damaged the pcm. Cylinder 1 doesn't get any signal from the pcm in the front coil pack and is running just with the back coil. It does get 12v and good ground, just no signal. I can't afford a pcm at the moment and thought it might be possible to send the same signal to both coil packs. I know I might loose some efficiency since they're not meant to fire at the same time, but I wonder if it is at all possible until I can replace the pcm.

Will the increased load further damage the pcm?

Does both coils work at all rpms? Or is it the case that they only work under certain circumstances?

Any help would be appreciated. Since I just can't replace the ECU at the moment. Not an option for me right now.
