Recomended TPMS sensor replacement?
Mavis wanted $100 per sensor, I politely declined... Looking at RockAuto most seem to be around $25 give or take a couple bucks... is there a specific brand to seek out or avoid?
I had all four of my TPMS sensors (2010 Fit Sport 207,000 miles) replaced at Costco a few weeks ago. The cost for all four was $186. I was having new tires put on at the same time (Firestone Indy 500), so there was no extra cost for installation of the TPMS. If you are not having tires put on, there is a charge for the TPMS installation. After a few days, my TPMS light never went out, so I took it back. They reprogrammed the sensors, and the light is off now. I want to try lowering the pressure in the tires to see if the low tire symbol comes on, but I haven't done it yet.
