just got it a little while ago, so still checking it out.
Noticed the passengers outside mirror housing is cracked.
I saw for sale mirror replacement caps.
made in china, so not sure how good they would be.
Anyone tried them???

 

You mean the body colored panel? That comes off the mirror - you can buy them from Honda parts dealers. Here's the Alabaster Silver Metallic (NH700M) part.

 

Kind of expensive.
I guess it a good thing it can be replaced.
Don't have to buy a whole new mirror.
Any idea how it comes off????

 

I don't see any fasteners on the parts diagram, so I assume it clips on.

I would do 1 through 3 of "Mirror Holder Replacement" to get the glass out the way, then the entirety of "Mirror Housing Cover Replacement". Assuming the actuator's "inner holder" plate stayed where it it's supposed to, then go back to 6 through 8 of Holder Replacement to reinstall the glass.

 

It's just a crack, so I'll just leave it alone.
2013 so stuff happens.

 

my driver side is cracked after someone smacked with their door. it popped out but the clips just snapped back into place. call it character :-)

 

Just last month, I replaced the passenger side mirror housing cover with a made in China one from Amazon. Replacement cover went on easy and fits surprisingly well. Cost was around $21.
