The rear deck speakers in my 05 Accord Hybrid were a breeze to change
but I don't see how the grilles come off the door speakers. It kind of
appears that they don't come off.

Do I have to lift the door panel? If so, where are all of the screws?
I see the screw cover panels behind the opener latch and under the door
handle well. Any more? I'd hate to stretch out a screw mount thinking
it was a snap-in clip.

I'll be getting a service manual soon but I'd like to do the easy stuff
now.

 

On my '03 Accord the entire door panel needs to be removed to get at the
speakers. I assume your '05 is the same.

I don't recall all the details now as it has been 2 years since I did mine.
Mostly hidden plastic push fit clips hold the panel on. Quick cheap
assembly for the factory, eh?
