New Rims Booked

hi guys..

Just booked a set of these:

I know...it's not original..it's Work emotion replica 17"x7
I bought it 2nd hand. Thought I wanted to enjoy my stock Jazz for a while. But when I see these, I imagined it would look good on my silver Jazz and the price is bloody good. So I decided to purchase 'em. Unfortunately, the wheels are in a different city..so I have to wait before they get here

I'll post pics when they're on the car

oh and..while we're at it..I might need to get a set of springs as well..just a quick suggestion, which should I choose..TEIN or TANABE? I know H&Rs are good but I'm trying to keep it Japanese, if you know what I mean hehehe

thanks guys

thanks a lot guys..

yes they are work emo replicas..unfortunately. My previous plan was to save up more money and get original wheels to keep the Japanese authenticity theme. But I found these good looking wheels on a web and the price is a bloody good deal. Much much less than what I have to pay for the originals. And also the styling is not much of a difference when compared to the ori ones.

Theyre in town already and I'm hoping to fit 'em on Monday with the springs (I'm ordering a set of GF210)...so I'll post some pics afterwards

Question

Man, they look hot!!!
You are lucky you found the wheels you wanted. I also had a vision of what my Jazz would look like and i knew exactly which rims i was going to get, but to my dismay, when i went to go order them (TSW Rocket), i found out that they have been discontinued by the manufacturer. I am heartbroken. I have even tried to find a similar style with a different brand, but they are also short on stock and they might only bring more stock in 3 months time. In the meantime there isnt a single rim in this country that i like and I really want to change my rims. I also wanted to enjoy the standard rims, but they are now old hat. Does anyone know any other brands that might be the same style as this rim? I am very specific, it must be silver on the outside and black on the inside. I have even customised my cars in Need for Speed Carbon to have the TSW Rocket rims on!!!

awesome...I love the darker shade of rim with the silver car. I notice your part of the world gets TANABE NF'SThose must be the least amount of drop?
Car looks sexy!

Suzi Q:
Thanks mate..honestly, I didnt know what wheel to get when I bought the car.
But I knew for sure the wheels I'm getting have to be bronze. And I found this one hehe
Regarding your wheels, you might wanna try to to look SSW wheels. It's made in Taiwan
but the quality is pretty good.

dessa 8837:
thanks for your comment..but I dont give a sh*t TBH..I love my wheels..I love my car and that what really matters to me hehe

Car Demon:
Thanks. I do love the stance too. With the NFs, yes it has the least amount of drop. Which means it's still
drivable. A bit firm but still acceptable
