Another HID question

I've been doing alot of reading on here and just wanted to get a clear answer. I probably read it, but I've read about 90 posts today about the topic lol.

I'd like to get a set of HID's with a slight blue tint. So what would that be...6000K?

My other question is, since the headlight housings were't really designed for an HID bulb, am I going to get a crazy amount of glare causing other drivers to flash their highbeams at me 100 times a night? I really like the way they look, but I don't want to be the cause of an accident either.

6000k is what i have and they are the perfect tint of blue for me. started out with 12000k. too purple. went to 4500k. too white.6000k is perfect in my opinion. ive had my hid's in for a few months and ive only been flashed once. oddly enough. the one time i got flashed was right after i lowered my car so my beam was lower. haha. but yea there is glare but not enough to blind someone. anyone that flashes me is just being anal.

Yes, 6k is blueish.

Don't go any higher then 6k or you'll lose light output.

Actually, as you go higher up the kelvin scale you lose lumen output. So technically, OEM or 4300k will be the brightest.

I've asked advice on another thread, but I'll try my luck here too. I want to install an HID kit, but I have phoned 3 different Honda dealers and 2 out of 3 told me that I would void my warranty if i did so. Is there any real danger to my electrical system, if i buy the full HID kit and have it installed by a qualified auto electrician?? Some guys have told me that it is possible to pop fuses and melt wires, has anyone had any trouble with theirs, and if so how bad was the damage??

I would think that this would only occur with a generic or "cheap" kit. I'm just assuming here.
