It will be another seven months before I get a Fit, but I didn't have a good feeling when I couldn't find any at the local dealer. I did however see four 2008 Accords, which looked pretty nice. Anyway, I hope they have some Fits when I'm ready to buy!

Otherwise, I've been seeing the Fit everywhere since I started being interested in it. Doesn't it always happen that way? Whenever you want something, you start seeing it everywhere. I even saw a Blaze Orange one, which looked awesome.

make sure u check out paragon honda (that's where i bought mine) in queens and bay ridge honda in bklyn, ny. i just got mine a month ago and they both had several in stock.

I must be lucky. I didn't even know the Fit existed, wandered onto a Honda dealer one day earlier this year and bought it on the spot.

 

Inventory might be low due to two things, gas prices slowly going back up, and the swtich to 2008 model year, so they are waiting for those to arrive.

 

Get on the internet and call some close surrounding state Honda dealerships. I contacted a dealership in both Kentucky and Ohio when it looked like my car was not going to arrive. If they can help you out I am sure they will
help you out if they can. The more salesmen looking the better your chances of finding your car.

Theres a dealer right near the GWB on the jersey side with 3 fit spots and 1 red stick all 07's And one prange 08 sport auto in show room.

 

All dealers will be getting their October shipment at the end of the month, 1st week of October. Some dealers might have all of those already sold but many do not.

Look and call around .... you might have to take a drive to get one, but you can find one by 1st week of October.

I see you are in Long Island. I doubt you will find one in the NYC area. Too many people. Come up north a bit. Maybe up to Schenectady or not even that far.

 

07 or 08 Fits? Come to Florida, Fits line all the dealers here. Granted few are 5speed but Fits are all over here.
Ive seen the Tidewater Blue. Coggin Honda got one. Looks nice.

You know, it's funny. Last week I went to a dealership here in town and the guy checked on incoming Fits and he only had two coming. He had the exact model and color I wanted so I put my deposit down on it. It's funny tho because I really am wanting to get it and everytime I call him he just tells me, "They should be right around the corner!" He has no clue when they're coming in. lol Looks like I'm in for an expensive rental car experience with my Camaro selling in a couple days. Crap.

 

Probably a bunch of huge Buicks and Cadillacs there, considering the age group.

I agree. Just about a month ago when I bought my Fit, the dealer showed me the paper of inventory and there were about 12-15 Fits there... and just about every color.

 

So I got my Fit today. I guess the guy did have some idea of when it was coming. Heh.
