SF banning cars

Hello all

This is a funny story. I was talking to my frined Saturdya won't it be nice if certian streets are banned from cars, so busses can move quicker.

Sunday I drove in a familiar street I drive every week, and it said don't enter it unless you're a bus. Long story short, there are tons of streets that are to-be bus/taxi/bike streets only. I think this is great. It'll encourage public transportation. Driving in SF is rediculously bad. The main reason people drive in it is because of habit/mentality/laziness/culture.

I guess I won't have to worry about any San Francisco stick shift mishaps *refer to my other thread*

I'm sorry I don't have a link.

Unfortonatly this is the way of the future, there are just too many cars out there now. In China they are running trials for the olympics; one day people with even plate numbers can drive and the next day Odd plate numbers.

They almost need to start regulating how many cars are allowed on the roads, otherwise they are useless because everybody will be stuck in gridlock
