Now here's a little story
all about how my fit cold saved my impatient tail.
(kinda lame i know srry)

So i was Exiting my the student parking lot today after school, and there were two giant tanks (a denali and a subrban) parked horribly (surprising huh?) and giving little room for cars to exit the parking lot to the main exit. So I thought "F it" (fit haha) so i pulled forward, and just barely squeezed through. I looked behind me to see if this kid in a wrx Sti behind me was trying to pull out. He wasn't able to make it out LOL. I was at a stop light for a couple min afterwards, when he pulled up to me and I thought, "Fit 1, Subi 0" OOOUUCCHHH

So the STI hit a SUV or just didnt try?

hahahaha nice story... nd love the drawing! lol knda reminds me wen i squeeked around one big tank waiting to take a left in traffic.. wen the soccer mom in the tank behind me tryed the same ... she got her tank stuck in a snow bank later wen i was driving back the other way... they had a tow truck dragging her ass out! lol GO FIT!

 

Naw man it had too wait at the stop sign while traffic built up (from other students were leaving), and wait for one of the SUVs to move.

i have these events happen all the time as well. i was parked infront of a Qdoba (food joint) after having gone surfing with my friends, and while we were eating, we saw one of those big trailer lugging semis pull up behind my car perpendicular, so it pretty much blocked my way out. well, one of the employees was on their break eating, and they told me that they should be moving from the spot fairly soon. well, they didnt.

we didnt want to sit around and wait. so we got into the Fit, one of my buddies was playing supervisor outside, and after a 10 point turn, i managed to squeeze around the truck, all the while the employee inside say inside watching with their mouth wide open. good times.

 

I have another story (but I didn't want to make a new thread) so here it is:

So i was sitting at a lunch table today, and this bittie was at the table and she said how cute my car is, and that i look British in it (I assume to be a compliment), because i weave through traffic and stuff. I thought to myself, "BALLIN!"

Another reason I love my fit: I can park anywhere! I like to park next to the hopped up trucks in the parking lot that have to try like 3 times to park properly, while i can throw my car into a tight space at like 15mph no problem lol.

 

the best feeling in the world is when a parking lot is absolutely full with people circling around, and you pull up on a motorcycle and park right in front. also, when people are stuck in traffic, you just wave to them as you pass them.

haha i like your illustration. that same thing has happened to me several times too, in many different cars. i think it's usually more because some driver's don't have a good sense of where the front passenger side corner of their car is (being a left hand drive car) than it is because their cars are too big to follow us.

 

Love your rendering. Have you had drafting? Possible career potential! Just sayin'.....

Don't you worry that parking close to the mammoth vehicles that they'll slam their mammoth doors into the side of your fit?

 

No not really. I mean people are pretty good about not dinging ppl's doors at my school.
