Honda more than doubles fit sales

The auto section of the Kansas city Star has an article on small car sales and it says honda sold 4480 fits in the U.S in Jan 08, more than double the amount sold in Jan 2007.
I think the word is out on what a great car the fit is!!

That is great news to Aftermarket manufacturers who joined the Fit venture... and of course to all of us FitFreaks modders!

Just saw two being prepped for delivery at the local dealer, a base and sport in SSM. They are flyin' off the lots...

That kinda sucks. I was thinking i was buying a rather unique/rare car because when i got mine they were hard to come by. Its good for Honda though. Probaly means the new Fit wont be here for a while.

Love This Car

We purchased ours around 3 weeks ago. I do believe they are flying off the car lots. We could hardly get any dealers to budge on prices. We purchased the 2008 sport, 5 speed manual, with the sport grill and bra. I have 2 other friends ready to go down and purchase 1. Guess the good sales will keep our value up!!!

Me too I sold my 14mpg Suburban and bought my NEW 2008 Sport. The net cost was $13,200 and at gas at $3.00/ and my normal 20,000 mile year the car is paid for in fuel savings in less than 4 years. Could be less than 3 years if gas goes to 3.5/

My salesman left a message the other day prompting me to send people his way if they're looking for a Honda. He said they don't have ANY Fits right now, and when I drove by a day later, I saw none! As the word gets out, the demand soars.
