Hi everybody, just got my parent's jazz after having passed my driving test, and i found this awesome forum full of crazy "fit" stuff!
And so, like any other teenagers, i went around the net trying to surf up some bodykits and ect. for my jazz, however i'm not quite sure if it's just UK or something, but they seem kinda rare D:

So can anybody here from the UK/know anything about claiming bodykits for these awesome cars please help!

-1.4L
-03 Model
-ATM everything is standard

ps. i keep on seeing these JDM and USDM abbreviations, can i ask what these are?

Hello and welcome! You'll struggle to find much stuff for the Jazz over here in the UK so be prepared to pay for stuff!

JDM stands for Japanese domestic market and USDM United States domestic market, basically means if somethings JDM it's usually standard spec on a car in Japan an the same for USDM.

As for bodykits the best place to start looking is Japanparts.com: TOKYO GM SHOKAI KK, they ship all over the world and do quite a lot of stuff. Other than that be warned that US bodykits and some parts do not fit UK Jazz's but with a few searches and a bit of research on here you'll pick up everything you need to know.

yo welcome to fitfreak fellow UK jazzer.. you will not find much for the jazz in the UK unless your willing to pay big money.. it still works out slightly cheaper if u were to buy from abroad..
depends wat u r wanting to do with the car, some things r cheaper to buy here in the UK, shop around.. im sure i cud give u some pointers...

so can you guys tell me which type can fit onto UK jazz's then? JDM or USDM
and also, what GD my 1.4 is

edit: just checked out japanparts.com i don't really quite like anything from there, and the range isn't particularly large... :\

 

You'll be looking for JDM goodies mostly but all the engine mod stuff and most of the interior from the US will fit. And if you look under the bonnet near the catch is the body VIN plate which says what your GD is but I think it should be GD1, it's just basically your frame code.

 

May I ask where you got your kit from?

 

Found it on ebay, not a perfect fit as of yet but from past experience nothin is really. Wasn't gonna break the bank for a proper mugen kit, not yet anyway!
