coilovers: Need help, pictures added

Im gonna start off with LOL because I know Im missing something. No instructions at all on how to do it so help me out guys. What am I doing wrong for the strut piston to shoot up this high on the strut tower

you have to take the top hats off the stock ones and put them on the aftermarket ones.

you know how to get those adjusted properly? its definatly better to get them right the first time before road crap gets in the threads. im goin running, ill check back in about an hour.

the springs? not really.. just with the shitty instructions had said which was not much, I planned on calling ksport tomorrow. I got adjust ride height soon anyways because of my fatass tires I have on right now, gotta get rid of them.

well i was saying its easier to adjust them before you put them back on the car. after you put the top hats back on and they are ready to be reinstalled, lower the top perch to where the spring isnt compressed at all. then set your ride height after that. we forgot to and it was a really bouncy ride until i took out the preload recently. of course you can do it while they are on the car, its just easier to while they arent.

oh yea I did all that, its a nice ride not bouncy. I need to roll my fenders and get new tires along with a camber kit, no biggie tho. Ill get that done this week
