How my fit was mistaken for a jeep!
So this is the edited short version. My wife and i decided to take a trip in the fit to the redwoods of NORCAL. On the way home, we decided to eat at "mama mia's italian restaurant" located inside the mall. We are joined by my father-inlaw and his brother. They have decent food, but incompetant staff. We eat, we drink, we pay. On our way out of the mall parking lot my father in law is stopped by the police. They say that our group didn't pay for the meal (lie!) and we "dined and dashed." The police also ask for the whereabouts of the others in our group (we had separated from my father inlaw to explore the mall.) The police were looking for a red 2008 jeep! My father inlaw tells them its not a jeep and its actually a honda fit(DUH!) He also tells them he'll go back to the restaurant and sort things out. It turns out, the waiter (total ding-bat) had put my father inlaw's brother on a separate bill. However, he negated to tell anyone about this. As we were leaving the restaurant, my guess is that the waiter followed us to our fit to report what vehicle we were driving. He got the "red" part right, but a "jeep" ?!?!?!? COME ON! The fit is the furthest thing away from brick-like monstrosity known as a "jeep"!!! Anyone have an experience like this? I know we all get the usual - "Is that hybrid?" or the infamous "How do you like your Aveo"
But, has anyone had their fit mistaken for a vehicle of mass proportions? Like a hummer or some other B.S.

uhh...
ya that's my beef. i tipped decently because i never want a bad taste left in someone's mouth. however my own philosophy gave me that same bad taste. oh well- fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, i'll gun you down with the fit. lol, good thing its already red.....muhahahaha!
Just being stupid.
Jeeps are designed for off-road use. Like a lifted pickup... spirited on road use is not reccomended.
Jeeps were designed for off road use. Now, like every other POS suv on the road... they can't be taken off road because the manufacturers don't trust the drivers on the road with their vehicles off the road so they built them like crap.
