Jazz/Fit Mugen Grille

Does anyone know if the Mugen upper grille will fit the OEM stock bumper or it will fit the Mugen front bumper only? What year range of the Jazz/Fit this grille will fit?

Yes it will fit. No extra work either. Just pull (unscrew) the old one out and the Mugen screws right in. For a nicer more even fit the Mugen comes with double sided tape.

Just had Mugen grill done on my Jazz. You will need to open up the front bumper, to unscrew and get the grill out. The whole bumper does not need to come out, just the upper part. The whole process took about 20 minutes at the shop.

watch it fall off lol.

Nah if you want it to be more secure then screw it on, but the quick and easy option is to us 3M stickers.

O.K. Since you asked here it is! I have a USDM Fit Sport. It is a USDM Factory Sport Bumper, and no there was no modification to make this grill fit. This is the Seibon Carbon Fiber Front Grill MG style. Does the MG stand for mugen... Don't know. But if you order from Speed N Stylez I am sure you will get the exact grill that I got. I simply unscrewed 2 bolts from the factory grill(That some worthless peice of sh*t stole my JDM badge from.... got the back too!!!). Then I installed the new grill with the same factory nuts. I didn't take the bumper off, but just removed the top clips. It was a tight fit and it took some persuasion, but it worked out in the end. The only thing that I am keeping an eye on is the finish. I don't know if it is getting worse or not!?!? Iwill keep everyone updated if you like. I have had this grill for about 3 months.

On a side note... The grill has a cut out to keep the plastic part behind the emblem on the factory bumper. I guess you could cut it out but i was afraid of the top plastic part of the bumper sagging. It would show big time(the plastic part) if you have any kind of FIT besides black!! So I painted the bumper piece with a Satin Fusion spray paint so it wouldn't stand out!!! The only problem is now I have chips in my paint job from road debris. What is up with all the Road Debris with these Fits!!!! I already have 4 small chips in my windshield, and my bumper has me thinking of a new body kit already!!!!

Real mugen grills don't fit on US/Canadian spec bumpers. Period.

Do a search. This has been covered off numerous times and I've posted pics showing what the grill looks like lined up against my Fit sports bumper.
