looks sweet, def. a nice job!

i don't know what i would do with them yet. maybe paint them black when i get rims.

the only thing i worry about is how well that paint ages with all of the brake dust sitting on them and everything. i've seen a bunch of cars with painted red calipers that had the paint looking like it was flaking off and just nasty. take care of them! keep them clean!

Point is it looks good! There are many things you can do to customize that have no useful function, but plenty of us still do it. This is something I want to do also, not sure I will do red, probably just black, but definitely cleans it up nicely.

Personally I hate red brakes and even more so when they are stock brakes. it looks very tacky IMO. On my last car I had big brake upgrades all the way around and even paid extra to have it all powder coated black.

but to each their own, as long as you like it.

and i will echo that, "as long as you like it". however, i think painting your calipers does everything but "clean it up". I understand alot of time and work goes into painting calipers, but i feel like that time is better spent searching a yard for an oem rear disc that will replace our drums. and again, thats probably a bit hypocrytical because rear discs probably wont slow down a near stock fit any faster than our drums. to come full circle, "as long as you like it".

I'm personally not feeling them. I speak from experience. Did this to my 2002 Civic and I thought it looked good back then, but overtime realized that it was rice.

I agree with Darkstars. Colored calipers don't look that great, even on sports cars. But to each their own.

Looks like you did a great job on them and I think they look pretty good. At least it brings some contrast to the wheels and when your in motion.

/open thread (ha)

it looks like you did a good job painting your calipers. however, i'm a believer that calipers should be only be brightly colored to draw attention if they're upgraded or high performance. otherwise i think it's a tad tacky too, that's all.

I don't get it, why draw attention to stock calipers that are real small?

Look good.
Did this on my last car. Won't be doing it to the Fit.
Once painted you always have to keep em clean to look good and
have to be so careful when mounting/unmounting wheel to not stratch them.
To much maintenance for me.

yup. might as well put a nex or rotora sticker on there IMO, complete the look :/ If they weren't stock calipers I'd give you a high five, but why show off the little stock babies that the fit comes with. Paint em black to match the rear drums if anything.
