This news is great for the FIT but bad for us that plan on negotiating a price! I can't believe every automaker was down for Sept except GM!

I wasn't so surrpised to see GM, Ford and Chrysler down, but I must admit that I didn't expect Toyota to be down over 30%, as well as Honda, Nissan and Hyundai all down too. I guess the economy is much worse than most expected ealier this year. Yes, it's good to see the Fit doing well, but it's a double-edged sword. Dealers have absolutely no reason to bargain, plus, there'll likely be zero financing incentives from AHFC. On the bright side, this should be good for resale down the road, especially if gas prices remain over $3 per gallon.
