2009 Fit Sport Price in West LA
I'm shopping around for a 2009 Honda Fit Sport, Automatic Transmission and Silver color, with no extra add-ons, in the West Los Angeles area. It looks like the prices around here are much higher than in other areas of the country.
After some negotiating today, I was offered the Fit Sport for $17,125 (incl. the $670 handling charge) + taxes and registration. The on-the-street price would be of around $19K.
Is this reasonable? I feel that I should be able to get a much lower price for this car. I would really appreciate your comments.
Thanks,
Ralph

If the price includes the destination fee, that's less than invoice.
$17,125 - $670 = $16,455 < invoice = $16,501
In the above link you should be able to shop dealers, check their inventory or get price quotes.
Or go to hondacars.com and search for dealers in your zip code and call or email.
I got mine in Huntington Beach, though I live in West LA. I drove down there (2nd Honda in a row from these guys) to get the car I wanted at sticker, though they lied to me and jerked me around with my trade.
I would try Cerritos Honda (Norm Reeves) - they're supposedly the largest Honda dealer in the world and from what I've heard they're not imposing a mark up.
