Price Paid For A 2009 Fit Sport Automatic, No NAV
Hi All,
I want to get a 2009 Fit sport with automatic, no NAV. I'd like to get an idea of what some of you have paid for it out the door. I know prices are different in different locations but at least I can get an idea of what the ranges are.
Thank you!

Here’s what I can do – The FIT base model I can sell to you is $13800.00 plus $670.00 frt + $129.00 carpet mats + $99.00 processing fee + $222.00 tags and $881.88 taxes for the total out the door of $15801.88 ( that’s $250.00 under invoice ) and the SPORT model would be selling price of $15190.00 plus the same fees so on the road would be $17275.28 ( taxes is $965.28 ) about $300.00 under invoice
Thats what a dealer near me offered. He was a jerk so I went somewhere else, and got something more or less comparable (was 100-200 either way, I believe).

I ended up paying MSRP. I did notice the markup on the vehicle is only about $650.00 to the dealer, I believe...so not as much markup for the dealers as most vehicles. I was set on getting the Fit Sport in Taffeta White (had to wait for one to come in) and since the vehicle was priced economically compared to other vehicles anyways...I did not have a problem for this vehicle paying MSRP.
Also, Honda Fit sales have decreased considerably in the last few months due to the drop in the price of gas, so you may be able to grab one at or below dealer cost.
I paid $17,380 + TTL for our '09 Milano Red Sport AT (so, only $200 under MSRP) 1 week ago here in Michigan...
BTW, I feel the '09 is a great improvement over the '08 (we had '08 Sport AT previously). Longer wheelbase is evident in smoother, less choppy ride...seats are more supportive...map lights...armrest...interval rear wiper...built much more solid...quieter...better forward vision...better power...better instrumentation...much closer to a Civic in refinement than the previous '08 was. Can you tell I'm happy with the new car?

i paid $215 under invoice for a sport A/T, no add ons, which did not require any negotiating. i just walked in with a number and they accepted it. perhaps they
are super motivated with a couple days left in the year.
i heard there is a holdback of a few hundred dollars so they did make a small
amount of money from the deal.
incidentally, i also just noticed that i was charged northern cali sales tax on the total
price that included the destination charge of $670. is the destination charge supposed to be subject to sales tax? if not, i was overcharged by about $55.

I paid $16,879.00+ TTL= $18,512.12 OTD.
Two weeks ago I went through Auto-by-Tel to get bids from 3 dealers here in Northern California (North SF Bay). The best quote I got for a 2009 Sport Automatic w/o Navi was $17,180 plus tax & license, which is $400 below MSRP. I ended up purchasing a 2009 Fit Sport Automatic w/ Navi because of the VSA. I paid $19,230 plus tax & license, which is $200 below MSRP.
I just got mine yesterday and I got the '09 A/T Sport, the MSRP in jersey for that is 17,580 with destination included (which is about 670 I believe). I got it for 650 less though, because I did some internet hunting. Your best bet, as was stated previously, is to go at the end of the month. And do your research, I just caught a dealership on their mistake and used it to my advantage at a huge dealership, knowing that they can afford to drop a couple of dollars
