hi all

does anybody know if the above Enkei rims will clear a BBK setup on the jazz?

i currently have a wilwood mini 4 pots with 282mm rotors.

i want to know if i will have any clearance issues with that wheel and offset?

You'll probably need 16"

 

Diameter wise it'll be close - 11.1" rotors aren't too huge, but even if there's no issue diameter wise, wider calipers have their own fitment issues.

But it's hard to say, your best bet would be to ask Wilwood.

 

You may be OK with the 11" (282mm) rotors, depending on calipers clearance, inside a 15" wheel, but the offset is likely too little. In the US the smallest offset without problems is 42 mm unlowered and 45mm lowered reasonably and a max rim width 7" (686 mm).

For fender clearance, yeah - lots of offset . . . but the problem he may run into with a "good" offset of 42-45 is that it starts limiting the space behind the spokes for wide calipers.

Definitely talk to Wilwood - or even better, find someone with the rims you're looking at so you can test fit them.

 

Which Wilwood brakes did you use?! I thought there is 12.2" for the GD Jazz only?!

He said he wanted to use 35, so where is the problem? 35 has more space between spokes and caliper.

what does that have to do with his question

ive seen people run a spoon caliper on a 15" enkei but not sure on size or offset
