30k mile maintenance ?'s

My Fit that I got two weeks ago is coming up on 30k miles. Oil life is reading 15% so I'll definitely be changing that soon. Along with that, I'll be replacing the filters, as I'm sure they've never been replaced, tho the air filter does look good.

Air filter: is K&N still the most economical way to go?
Oil filter: Mobil 1 all the way!
Pollen filter: just order one from H and A?
Oil: Synthetic? I know the manual says 5W-20 Premium. Any specific brand? Usually go with Mobil 1. I live in Idaho, where today it was 103, and in the winter it can get to 20 on a normal morning. Just looking for the best economical oil - no power gains needed.

Pretty confident that I can do all those. Let's see... Don't think AC needs recharged. Anyone think of anything else?

Everybody will have their own opinions, but most of what you're asking about just depends on your flavor. My flavor:

Air Filter: Yes, K&N
Oil Filter: Purolator Pure One
Oil: Definitely keep with synthetic. I've been using Pennzoil Platinum b/c it's $20 for 5qts at Walmart, but I'm going to try Mobile 1 next time. For a DD that isn't driven hard, I'm sure I won't be able to tell the difference.

Maybe rotate the tires, check psi, OEM Windshield wiper blades if you need them, and a Kraftwerk's SuperCharger is recommended for all 30K maintenance.

Rotation! That's what I was forgetting! Need to check pressure, most definitely, but I've lost my gauge. Gotta get another.

Does Walmart carry the s/c? Haha. Nah if I preferred power over economy I would have kept my Mini Cooper S with 15% s/c pulley. Heh

For the air filter I would do the AEM short cold intake. I have the long one, but the short is much easier to install...

Ya I'm not going to put a short ram in my car. It's gutless enough as it is ha. I replaced oil and oil filter (Mobil 1 synthetic & Mobil 1 filter), but since my air filter is in great shape, and sincemy funds are a bit low due to unexpected expenses, I'll get the air filter sometime later.

So put "cold" instead of "air". Big deal, buddy.
