Various FIT parts "trivia" questions

I have an '09 Fit Sport M/T, and am a daily reader of FitFreak Forums.

I've got some nagging questions:

1) My Leather Wrapped steering wheel. The dealership tried to sell me one but I eventually cancelled it, especially when I found out that the OEM doesn't fit the Sport Steering wheel, and the Sport is already Leather. However, my Cobra leather steering wheel looked pretty bad after a few years, and am wondering if anyone's found a good looking/fitting/feeling leather wrap kit for the Sport wheel. I'd rather wrap it than have mine look bad in a few years since I'm planning on keeping it for as long as a I can.

2) Does anyone know if the Bluetooth Handfree link only works with NAV stereo (ie, to shutoff FM/CD/AUX audio during calls).

3) The lighted key ring seems to have gone a little cold and bad. Seems like folks are having issues with these. I was hoping to do this when I update my wiper stalk, but I'm thinking this might be on hold for a while.

4) Aftermarket radios. With the unique face plate, I'm assuming I'll have to find a manufacturer that is making not only the AV unit, but also the face plate. I saw one aftermarket, but it was a Right Hand Drive face plate and I didn't see any indication if the US/Left Hand Drive face plate was available.

1) Try leather conditioner on a regular basis

4) Aftermarket radios come in 2 standard sizes: DIN and Double DIN
You buy the faceplate as a separate kit from companies such as Metra or Scosche whose specialties are making aftermarket radios fit into cars

2) The fit never had bluetooth? (or the option for). If it somehow does this is news to me...

3) are you talking about the key ring on the side of the steering wheel where you put your key in to start the car? If so there is no light....there have been a couple DIYs posted here on how to put in one but none of the Fit models come with it.

2) There's a hands free bluetooth kit. see Honda Hands Free Link Accord, CRV, Fit, Odyssey, Pilot, Ridgeline - Bernardi Honda Parts and Accessories
Not really that useful if it doesn't control a non-NAV Sport Radio.

3) Yes. I was talking about the DIY. Initially I saw what appeared to be an import part, which people have reported that it stopped behaving correctly once installed. I see that someone has made their own key rings but that doesn't appear to have the same functionality that the original kit did which glowed blue with the interior lights, and red if there was some sort of alarm event.

1) I had the same sort of smooth leather wheel on my Cobra, and what appeared to be the top layer (almost paper thin) eventually came off. Do you think leather conditioning is going to prevent that?

4) Does Metra and Scoche have special faceplates for each unit, or are they more generic to a DIN or Double DIN format? Rough cost on a faceplate?
