195/60/R15 on a 2009 Base Fit

I'm looking at getting 195/60/R15 tires.

Will they fit on the original steel rim of the 2009 Fit Base?

They might, depends on the installer's skill. They'll be a little taller than stock though.

They'll have a lot of outward stretch, but that's about it.

Yes, they will have a bit more bulge in the sidewall than the original tire but they are the same diameter (24"). The stock rim is on the narrow side for the 195 but it WILL work.
