Talking I found Protective film kits for the Fit!

I have just purchased the nose cover for bug protection when I road trip, a neccessity here in Minnesota where the bugs are plentiful. I did, however, also want some protection for the headlights and fog lights and found this company that is already making a kit for the fit, made available on May 10. I think I am going to do this, because the fit's head lamps are rather large and exposed. I also want to yellow out the fog lights (which will also protect them. Any thoughts on this?? Here is the link:
www.lamin-x.com
Then select the pre-made kits link to find the honda fit.

How are these put on? Is it hard? Do you have experience doing this?
I am interested but need to be able to put it on myself ad have it be simple or at least reasonable difficulty.

Check this out too. They have kits of 3M film for all front facing areas of the Fit and also on line installation videos. I will be buying some for my Fit, but will probably pay an expert to do the job. They also provide a ZIP code locator for certified installers.

I was thinking of this company to, but just to change the headlight color or fog light color actually... But I decided just for the HID Conversion

Up here in Calgary, there is a lot of gravel on the streets due to winter sanding. My parents Merc C Class does not have any 3M protection and it is completely peppered. However, on their G35, they did get the 3M and it looks just like new! I opted for the 3M protection as well, got the whole bumper, hood, fenders, side mirrors, fog lights, and front lip done for cheap.

I guess this option is mainly for people who live in areas where they sand a lot. Otherwise, there really is no point. BTW those pictures I took in my thead had the 3M on it...pretty invisible!

The kit for the Fit sport was real cheap and it was professionally installed. If anyone is interested in getting it, but is being gauged by your local 3M retailers, let me know, I can get you a really good deal on it!

At a minimum, I think everyone should at least consider protecting the headlights and foglights. Replacing them is not cheap.

I'll be in Calgary with my new Fit in about 12 days. I'd love to have the job done professionally for cheap.

Can you give a US Dollar equivalent of what a good 'cheap' installed price is?
