I think the S2000 mill's high reving characteristics would "fit" the Fit well.

Other's thoughts?

I don't like having to rev high to get good "umph" around the street. Dunno if I agree.

If your talking fantasy, yeah that would be fun. Practically it would very hard (expensive) to pull off.

Isn't the 4G63 prone for crank walk?

The drivetrain and engine they use on Suzuki Swift JWRC. That's sweet but I think buying a Swift then modify it with the same specs as the Swift JWRC would be more practical.

Not really. The version that chrysler used in the 2nd gen Dsm was prone to crank walk. It was not the same as the mitsu engine, same block but that's about where it ended.
I'd like to see a k20 in my fit. Right now I don't have the coin for the swap.

I'm actually quite happy with the L15A. I mean fit has been designed for fuel economy purposes - so if putting a performance engine into the fit, would kinda defeat the marketing purpose. But if I really have to choose, I might wanna choose one with K20

The R18 turbo out of the jetski. As I understand it its basically a turboed L15a from Honda.

yes, purely for fun/fantasy, i realize adapting a RWD mill would be difficult but could certainly be done.

R18 is a good thought!

meh, 2500lbs curb weight? you don't need a ton of low end.

although i guess if you're a torque junkie you could always go with the 255hp V6 out of the Odyssey.

Hmm a S2k engine would be nice parid with the S2k tranny best tranny i ever had. U really don't have to rev all that high on the S2k engine at least i did not on my CR. Hmm the evo engine would be nice its a bullet proof engine. I beated on my old evo every day and it ran like a champ. Here is what i want to see a Evo engine paired with a smooth tranny like the S2k in any sports car i don't care what with 4-doors and a price tag of $20k or less and im sold on it. Any other takers on this
