srt-4 motor just stock will be fine 230hp ftw!
lol we're straying from the Honda brand engines. If you're doing that, 260hp Chevy Cobalt engine ftw.

As I said in the "If you won the lottery" thread, Send the Fit out to Rad Rides by Troy in Il and have her fitted with an LS9 out of the CTS-V! RWD of course! That out to asuage my need for speed, and getting sideways in four out of five gears LOL

im not sure a short wheel based honda fit with rwd and about 400+hp is going to be alot of fun. youll likely spin out at even a hint of steering input.

i would like to swap a k24a (k20a head/cr-v block hybrid) with a ct or vortech or jackson racing compressor with a built bottom end and full head work with aggressive cams and timing. slap on a lsd with a stiff racing clutch and i think the setup can fly by most sports cars on the road.

could you imagine a fit with that distinctive STi rumble? oh the sex.

but as far as a honda engine? gotta rock a k20 with a little switch to it...rear mounted rwd. the fit is so front heavy because of the seating positions and the placement of the gas tank it would actually balance it out a bit and of course a suspension guru would be able to straighten out everything else...

Stick with the current engine or smaller. Perhaps a mild hybrid if feasible too.

Fixed, the LS9 is only for the C6 ZR1 and the LSA is for the current CTS-V and upcoming Z/28. But I like the way you think though.

Realistically I would love to see a B16B from Spoon ... +10k redline, and still has the light weight to power ratio, plus it is still FWD.

And if we going crazy with non-Honda Stuff I say WRC spec 4G63 from the early rally cars with anti-lag back fire... OOOOOooorrrr the V8 from a Ferrari 458, perhaps.. Hahaha
