So Car and Driver Magazine, as part of its Save the Manuals efforts, recently solicited 30-second campaign ads in support of manual transmissions. I shot an ad and submitted it to the contest; as I represented Honda Fits in it, I thought I'd share it with you all.

I wanted a manual but the wife insisted we get an automatic due to her having a bad left ankle and driving a stick would make it hard for her. I do have a co-worker who picked up a '10 manual Fit and he let me take her for a spin and damn.....I wish even more that I had a stick! The clutch and shifter were comfortable and smooth as silk.

Still love my Fit!
