Installing the ambient light kit in our new 2010 Fit Sport. Instructions for step 8 (page 3) say to connect light harness into the mirror switch, but the very next step (9) says the exact same thing, but to connect it into the fog light harness.

So that's a little confusing to me, but maybe once I get under there it will all become clear? I'm assuming that all three functions (mirror, fog, ambient) use the same 13 wire harness, so maybe it doesn't matter?

Something else I just thought of: the instructions say to disconnect the battery when doing this. That seems a little excessive. Is it really necessary?

Figured it all out. No need to disconnect the battery. 2010 Sport doesn't have switch for fog lights, so there's no connector to worry about. Now I have to decide if the Honda LEDs are bright enough, or if I should put something else in there. Rob
