I am a former 2008 fit 's' owner. still like the car even though it had to go. interested in hearing from any michigan, n. ohio or n. Indiana fit people who autocross or are planning to next summer in the newly formed STF class for SCCA solo competition. This should be much more equalised class for Fit. Mazda2, Fiesta and Yaris to play in than what had been allowed before. I will state upfront that I now have a 2011 Fiesta (gasp!) and have been preparing it to play in this new class. I am still fond of the Fit and would possibly like to discuss these cars and what they might need to have done to them to be competitive through the cones. I would also be willing to agree to attend events where we could play with these cars to see what results! I am doing this now because I think the economy will be bad and turnout will be low next year. I have no idea how many will show up to play. but maybe a few of us here can plan to do a couple events in Ohio, Indiana or Michigan! I have been a lurker here for some time! many great posts and info' galore. just post or P.M. if anyone wants to persue some autocross fun. Happy new year, you Freaks!

 

I'm new to this forum, and all. But nobody replied to you, that's a bit sad. Welcome Back! I am actually going the other way with my fit, I'm not really into running it hard or anything so Im changing the rims to, 2011 sport rims, instead of the 08 spts. that r on there now. Im into making it look more to my liking.

One day though, maybe I'll get into one of those rallies, I see the mini's running around chagrin falls with all the decals on them. As to the economy, I think gas prices are high right now.LOL

Im in the slow lane 7 out of 10 times, and doing 60 to 65, People blow by me like I'm standing still On 480 east I get tailgated in the slow. I dont know when gas prices will slow people down again. I have also eyeball the ford eco cars, I say good for ford, america's auto companies arent completely off their rockers. Some of them look great. The only thing that really sirprizes me is the price. I was rather floor on how high it was.
