New Hole for Front Seat Washer Lift?

New to the forums - owner of 2012 and 2013 base Fits for my family of 6...and I'm 6'8" tall which brings new meaning to the term "Fit"!

Onto my question: for the tried and true "lift the front edge of the front seats by inserting 4 washers" modification...does this REQUIRE drilling a new hole in the one seat mounting foot?

I saw one thread where this was the case...but that was the only reference to drilling. Thanks for clarification!

No drilling required. Just take the front bolts out and pry the brackets up enough to insert the washers. You may have to play around with how many you want to use. Depends what feels best.
