Room for golf clubs?

Do I have to drop a seat and put clubs lengthwise in the Fit? I just bought a 2012 PMM sport but don't have it yet. Just curious.

to lay them down, yes, but if you just wanna put them standing up and kinda diagonal in the back you can without dropping a seat

Thumbs up Seat configuration

That's where the beauty of the Fit's seat configuration versatility comes in. You can lay down half with golf clubs and child seat in the back.

You can stand up both back seats and lay down/stand up more golf bags.

You can lay down the front passenger seat all the way (minus headrest) if you want your clubs beside you... Did I mention shrimp can be cooked many ways? Sorry, Forrest Gump line...

Then come back for the wife, kid and dog later... All in jest of course. Best!

I just put one seat down and slide my bag in. I've never tried it the other way.

I would put the smallest seat in tall mode and stand it up back there. Easy Peasy.

Pro-tip: That little storage pocket on the passenger side of the trunk? You can stick one end of a long object in there first..gives you a couple extra inches of clearance to get the other side of the object in.

Works great for:
Golf clubs (without even taking the driver out of the bag)
Curling broom
46" canoe paddle

And probably other stuff, too.

That is good to know!

I was wondering the same thing recently, I never brought my clubs to the dealer to test this... It did not seem like 2 sets of clubs would fit unless I folded the seat down but with 2 carseats in the rear, it would be a pain to fold the seats down. I guess removing the driver is the best solution.
